About Budget Driver Training

Expert Training with Qualified Instructors

We are a driving school based in Murwillumbah and servicing Tweed Heads and the lower Gold Coast. Our trainers are all authorised by the NSW transport department RMS/RTA to train and Assess. Budget Driver Training’s driving instructors have years of driver training experience.

Our trainers all have current Blue Cards (Child Safety check).

We are a member of the Australian Driver Trainers Association.

Our instructors are very patient, professional and well organised.

Meet The Instructor

Paul Lambert’s profile:

Worked for many years with two of Queensland’s foremost driving schools.
Driven limousines and coaches on the Gold Coast.
Driven semi-trailers across Europe and up and down the east coast of Australia. (Also B doubles)
Taught as a tutor at Southern Cross University, in China and in the NSW TAFE system.

Qualifications include:

Certificate 4 TAE (Training and Assessment)
Certificate 4 Transport and Logistics (Car driving instruction)
Certificate 4 Transport and Logistics (Heavy Vehicle Driving Instruction)
Preparation and Transport of dangerous goods by road
Commissioner for Declarations (Under Justices of the Peace Act QLD)
Blue Card – Positive notice (Under commission for children and young people and Child guardian QLD)
Accredited driver trainer Australian Driver Trainers Association
